Hybrid Networks Laboratory (HyNet) is comprised of faculty, staff, and students.
Faculty usually have joint appointments with the Institute for Systems Research (the HyNet's parent organization) and either the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Department of Computer Science, or the School of Business. Professors conduct and direct research projects in addition to teaching undergraduate- and graduate-level courses in their areas of expertise. Post-docs conduct research.
Administrative staff manage the Center's day-to-day operations including event planning, proposal work, and information dissemination. Technical staff manage the research labs and provide IT support. Student workers assist in the operation of the Center and labs.
Students -- pursuing B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees -- conduct research under the guidance of their faculty advisor.
Also included in this section is a listing of HyNet alumni. Many of them are now employed by our industry partner companies and work in research areas where they developed an expertise during their affiliation with HyNet.
