Airport
Information
Baltimore Washington International
(BWI) Airport is located approximately 30 minutes north of Goddard Space
Flight Center and is the most convenient airport. Other airports servicing
the area are Washington Reagan National Airport (approximately 45 minutes)
and Dulles International Airport (approximately one hour).
In addition to the usual car
rental and taxi services, BWI offers the Airport Connection II limo service.
The shuttle cost is approximately $16.00 one way and will take you directly
to and from the hotel. The shuttle runs every 1 1/2 hours and can be obtained
at the baggage claim area of BWI. Advance reservations should be made
by calling (301) 441-3108. If you are flying into National, one option
is to take the Metro. The best route is to take the yellow line to the
Gallery Place-Chinatown station and switch to the red line. Take the red
line to Ft. Totten and change to the green line. The last stop on the
green line is Greenbelt. From there you'll have to take a taxi to your
hotel. Travel time via the Metro between National and Greenbelt is about
30-40 minutes (more during commuter hours).
